Hi
I've only owned my E85 3.0i for just over a month but am very happy with it for the price I paid, there a few niggles, some larger than others, but i guess that's to be expected on a 20yrs old car :D

Anyone have any suggestions for a cover for the winter as it's parked outside and driven possibly 2 maybe 3 times a week, of is better just to keep the top clean?

Thanks

E85 can be a bit leaky, so it’s worth keeping the rain out. If you are semi-regularly using the car over winter, I would avoid a full cover as they are a pain to get on and off and can abraid the paint at the corner contact points, particularly if it’s windy.

A half cover is a better in my opinion. They effectively cover the cockpit down to below the window line, which covers all the major leak points. CoverZone is probably the most well known and attaches to the car with magnetic “buttons”.

Exactly that ^^^^

I had a half cover for my Z3 before i got the hard top E89.
This is a "Customcover".
