Hi all
just joined the group as I am going through the process of purchasing my first Z4M.
I do have a question maybe someone can assist with though im sure its a regular on the forum.

My new car has its standard BMW wheels that I wish to change to 19"

I read somwhere that in order to do this with no camber adjustment I require the following:

Front Wheel 19" x 8.5" with an ET35 offset with 235/35 tire fitted.
Rear Wheel 19" x 9.5" with an ET22 offset with 265/30 tire fitted.

Im not too familiar with wheels and offsets being a biker.

Ive seen a set of Original BMW 19" E46 CSL wheels for sale.

Their part numbers are

Rear 36112282999 ET27

&

Front 36112282650 ET44

At a quick glance these appear to have different offsets than the recommended above.

My question is simple. Will these wheels fit a Z4M with those offsets with no changes to camber?
And if they do fit what would be the recommended tyre?

Many thanks

Paul

Welcome to the forum

They'll fit perfectly fine, no need to worry about it 8)

Hi and welcome aboard.

My M Coupe came with CSL Replicas with exactly the same sizes and offsets as OE CSLs when I bought it last December so they'll fit fine.

It also has Michelin PSS tyres which work really well - when it isn't cold and damp! Tyre sizes on mine are 235/35x19 front and 265/30x19 rear, but 265/35 rears might improve ride comfort!

While 265/35 rears might improve ride comfort, but when paired with your 235/35x19 front, I'll bet your traction/stability controls may go into hyperactive mode :driving:

ET 38 & 27 with no camber adjustment or spacers full the arches nicely in my opinion.

The didn't cause any untoward DSC/DTC issues in my experience...just thought they made a hard ride even worse.

Et44 will look crap, I'd try and find a more concave set. Just an opinion though, some guys like the flat wheel look.
