Having owned my Coupe for a full year now and lurked around the Z4 forum for all of that time, I have finally altered the standard look to the car and so have taken some pictures to share.
I have been running on regular MV2 wheels, which I think suit the car very well, but as I splashed out on a set of winters last year I decided to swop to something different for the summer. I have read forum members comments with interest and looked at the many pictures that have been posted seeking inspiration, and I must say there are some great looking cars on here. In the end however I decided to go for something that I hadn’t seen before, and I’m very happy with the results. I have always felt that spoked wheels really suit this car, I like the slightly classic look that these give, probably a throwback to my old wire wheel days on MG's. So I decided in the end to go for a set of 19’’ Calibre, Altus, and yes I know a little lower might look better, but as I’ve just had a new set of rear springs on (replaced under manufacturers warranty), and have to travel over roads and speed bumps in West Yorkshire, I’m very happy with the ride height as it is for now!
I washed, polished and waxed the car to take photographs for the forum, (well actually I do this every week much to my kids amusement), so I hope you like them, thanks for a great forum.
