Afternoon all,

I've been reading the forums for a while but have finally decided to sign up and introduce myself. I am from Derby where I spend the weekends but work in Essex so will hopefully get the chance to meet some of you from around the country.

I'm looking to upgrade to a Z4 Coupe in the next couple of weeks (house purchase fell through so found a new way to spend the deposit :D). Coming from a Fiesta Zetec S so will be a bit of a difference to say the least. I will post pictures up when I find the car of my dreams...off to post a wanted ad now!

hello and welcome......get a roadster though as its better to have top that you can drop :D

 I thought I might hear that. I do like the roadsters and the ability to drop the lid in the nice weather, however the Coupe is so good looking that it's won my heart!

hello and welcome the coupe is very exclusive, only 2791 supplied in the uk, don't let the pram toppers get to you - they know the coupe wins in its looks

Should you be driving with such poor eyesight? :poke:

Thanks for all the welcomes :)!

I had a test drive in a nice coupe tonight, my first go in one, and woaaaah that was good fun! It was an auto and I have to be honest I would prefer a manual but it was still great fun. The noise was lovely, power delivery was smooth but you could definitely feel it, and although it was very wet and I was only taking it easy, it felt planted round the corners.

There is now no doubt that its the car for me, just got to find the right one now!
