hi everybody.
i've been browsing the forum for a couple weeks now, a few days before i decided on buying a z4. i was initially set on buying a 2.0 but opted for the 2.5 due to the similar fuel economy but better performance. my z4 is a standard 2.5, black with black leather interior, heated/ manual seats and 108 alloys.... other than that, it is just like any other lol
i've read quite a bit and learnt a lot about it over the past few weeks and the information has been invaluable and answered quite a few of my questions. i bought it mainly as a weekend/ sunny day car and as such it has seen about 100 miles since the day i bought it a couple of weeks ago. it is a nice ride but the run flats are shockingly poor as such my first change is a set of 19's with premium tyres, i feel the 18's dont fill the arches as much as i like my cars to. i'm never going to drive it in anger so the performance trade off for bigger wheels will not bother me but its nice to have a bit more power on tap than the 2.0 which i read on here can have a flat spot when accelerating sometimes. other modifications to consider will be clear quads and indicators and thats about it.
i'll get some pictures up as soon as i have changed the alloys which should be next week all going well. keep up the good work
