Newbie question - demister

Hi all,

Just got my new (to me) Z4 20i s-drive m-sport.

Really pleased with it - just one question

The top two lines on the rear demister don't work. I notice that the car has an external radio aerial. Are the top two lines for the remote key aerial? or have they been damaged by the dealer putting the sticker on?

Sounds like sticker damage John

Not much you can do i'm afraid

You can buy a repair kit but its not the best looking repair so id leave it as is.

I'll have the dealers take a look - it's under warranty, so I don't think there'll be a problem with them sorting it.

I used mine yesterday morning. I can confirm that the top two bars are active and shound demist.

I had this issue when mine was new in 2009, they had to replace the rear windscreen.

Just pulled the sticker off my rear windscreen and it still works...

Dealer has now replaced the rear window - and also the rear badge and surround as it was tarnished and slightly corroded.
