Hi,

Just saying hello

Having come back from the Festival of Speed I decided it was time to rejoin the ranks of the petrol heads.

Having looked at the options I have set my heart on Z4 ,and was quite happy with a roadster until I saw a coupe.

The first thing that my other half said when she saw a coupe was that it reminded her of my old Triumph GT6, oh happy days

Anyway need to carry on looking and great forum

Good choice on the Z & even better on the Zc There are a couple for sale on here that are worth a look

Great decision. You won't regret it. My mate has a GT6 and said the same when I got mine.
I've had dozens of cars, none of which have lasted longer than 18 months but after 2 years the Zed still makes me smile in less than 30 seconds and I have no intention of changing.

Welcome I always felt my straight 6 Roadster was the TR6 I never got but always wanted (having previously had a Spitfire and then Vitesse Mk2 Convertible)

I was originally looking for another GT6 or TR6 but nostalgia got the better of me and I think that I'm getting too old to spend my time working on cars, so I decided to get a more modern sports car.

I test drove a 3.2 quattro TT and a TT Quattro sport but they didnt do it for me and a Boxter is probably a bit too much and have heard bad stories with reliability and big bills.

I thought that my problem may be the other half , but she is in favour and could be a fight to see who gets to drive it.

Great choice of motor! I got my Z4 coupe last November and I absolutely love it.

It's a great drive and it looks amazing. I'm never going to part with it :driving:
