- No, I didn't wipe it down - it had just dried off with the airflow. Amazing what 50mph does for drying :wink:
- The whippy - well spotted. I took the shots on two locations and in between I swapped out the stubby for the whippy to see if it improved reception (it did!)
- Photoshop shinyness? - how very dare you! I did give it some treatment in Lightroom to enhance the contrast and tone down the blacks - but nothing to explicitly make it shiny (although it has done that too )
Fantastic car. The noise is just wonderful. I'm going to enjoy owning it I know.
It looks much better with the stubby. I think the whippy looks horrible on the Zeds and it was the first thing that I did the same day I got my Zed
If you do have reception issues I would strongly suggest getting the genuine bmw stubby (If you haven't already) , not cheap but perfect reception on mine all the time. The cheap ebay ones I expect will suffer reception issues as you get what you pay for
