Newbie near Glasgow.

Hi all,

Thought I would take the time to say hello!!!

I live in a village called Bishopton near Glasgow.

Over the past few years most of my cars have been Porsches - 4 Boxsters and one 911- but my last was an Audi TT 225 which was a good car. I had a Z3 many years ago and remember really enjoying it so thought I would try the big brother.

I am looking to purchase the 3.0 Z4 in grey (how many shades of grey did the Z4 come in?) and my budget is around 7k for the right car. It needs to have heated seats though as the winters can be a bit chilly!!!

For £7k I'm sure you'll be able to get a cracking pre 2006 example with good spec

Welcome Harry! I'm on the east coast, heated seats for sure! Don't listen to any detractors! Grey is THE colour for the zed, don't know how many shades of grey there are but I'm loving mine!

7k Should get you a decent 2005 pre facelift (orange indicators,231bhp round rear lts) 3.0i.

The greys were as follows.....Sterling grey, Stratus Grey, Silver Grey.

Yeah I thought it might be a 04 or 05 plate. Did the tax band increase with the 06 facelift model.

Are there any links on the forum to show me those colours as I have only seen sterling grey???
