looking into purchasing a Z over the next few months. I am slightly undecided as to get one. been looking at a 130i Msport, Z4 3.0 or a newer 2.0 TT coupe

my budget is around £9k. so the 1 and Z are the more likely choices, plus BMW runs in the family.

how is the Z on a day to day basis? my commute to work is around 10mile round trip. but this could change in the near future.

Its fine as a day to day car but not sure you'd get the best out of a bigger engine on such a short work trip....acid condensation and rich running is more likely to cause engine/exhaust problems than a good long drive...but that applies to any car.

i think i would happily have a 2.5 but wouldn't want to have that feeling where I'm driving it that i wish i opted for the 3.0.

would defo want the engine size badge removed when/if I get one
