Newbie - looking for z4 coupe - few questions

Hi,

I'm looking into upgrading to a z4 coupe from my current car. At the moment I've got a Renaultsport Megane R26 which I love but I'm in the market for something a little bit more grown up and refined.

Just a few quick questions about model variations (I know there are probably loads of posts detailing this but I can't seem to find them)

Im definitely set on a coupe and sports model - what sort of options were available on them and which are most popular? There seems to be S, SI and SE variants is this right?

also is there any difference in spec between models with the 5 spoke alloys and the 10 spoke alloys or was this just a straight choice from new?

Looking further down the line is there much scope for modifications to the 3.0l engine?

All coupes are 3.0si's, your choice is between a 3.0si SE and a 3.0si Sport but you've already said you want a sport so I think that's your choice sorted. There is no S model. The sport model is pretty well equipped with electric leather m-sport seats, steering wheel and suspension. Desirable options include sat nav, bluetooth and heated seats. Wheels are down to the original buyers choice, on a sport model they will almost certainly be 18". Beyond that it's a case of trying to find your preferred interior and exterior colour combo. Oh, and you have the choice of manual or steptronic auto.
