Hello..I have been snuffling around the forum for a while taking in all the info for my next car..Z4, I have read all the comments about lockdown buying and ignored them(sorry!) and bought a 2011 sdrive23i with everything I wished for except heated seats. Its done 91K and has a book full of BMW stamps, so took a punt and overpaid for it but its very nice IMHO.I have driven to the mythical supermarket and back and like the car apart from hard ride, its got run flats on front and normal on back.I uploaded some pics for your perusal.

Very Nice, the more E89's I see the more I like.

What I don't understand is why would anyone order a brand new sports car with red leather interior and not option heated seats, surely it must be standard these days on leather. :|

Hi And welcome to the forum. Nice motor. I'd ditch the run flats for something that matches the back tyres. The ride might be significantly improved

Hi and welcome. It's good fun here. I like those wheels, especially with the grey, makes it look more classy than your average  .

Welcome to the board. Great looking Z4 you found.

I must remember that imaginary supermarket scam.

Looks like you have bought a tidy e89 Z4.These are excellent value for the money.Check the age of the battery before it starts to play up and give you all sorts of issues.

Welcome - your Z4 looks great in that colour combination.

Presumably you'll be going to the shops quite often now?

Thanks for the greetings I have looked into retrofitting heated seats, looks doable or I could just man up! also if I changed my front tyres for normal tyres, punctures would be a problem.I bought a obd plug in and downloaded bimmercode to my phone, I would like to code in folding mirrors and keyless access which is included in the comfort package but is not working atm, apart from that and at 91K miles what should be the next thought as far as the engine is concerned?

If you have non run flats on the back i can’t see the problem with putting them on the front, it will definitely improve the ride and handling, when was the last time you had a puncture? Just get a can of tyre weld and a small 12v pump. You’re better off not mixing tyre so go with one or the other.

If the battery is the original then that probably needs changing, also change the salmon relays in the boot for the convertible roof.
