Newbie here - help me find a user manual?!

Hi,

New to the forum but have been lurking for a bit whilst I was looking for a Z4. Finally picked one up today so here I am! Loving the car so far - really nice change from a 2007 320d!

The Z4 didn't come with a user manual (previous owner had lost it!) :(

Anybody got any tips where I can get hold of one? I've seen some on ebay but don't want to pay £50+ for a manual. I know they are available to read online but I much prefer an old fashioned hard copy to flick through on a Sunday morning, or have in the car for whenever I need it.

Few pics below for you all - these are just the ones I nicked from the ad

Looking forward to getting involved in the forum! Cheers

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I didn't realise they were that dear - I got one for my 2nd E86 for £33 on e-bay a few years ago. Have you tried breakers? Quarry Motors usually seem to have sensible prices.

In the meantime you can download one as a pdf here if that helps:- https://www.bmwsections.com/docs/z4/

Thanks Mr Tidy!

Yeah, I'd pay £33! Not £60 that i've seen just now!

Breakers is a good shout, i'll check it out, thank you

Hi Tewy,
I had the same issue too & yes I downloaded it frm the web but got it printed & binded into a book.
It's like 283 pages. If you like I can forward you the pdf files.

Cheers

If you have an iPad you can download the iPad version from bmw for free...

Tap in your VIN and off you go..nice indexing search facilities plus a few animations for those that struggle to read.

Awesome, thanks guys - will check out online versions and like the idea of printing and binding my own one!

Welcome and nice car! Have you tried the main dealers? Back in 2016 I ordered a manual in English for my F20 1 series (it was Spanish car with books in Spanish) and it cost me around 30€. It's worth a try.
