Hello!

Firefighter & Wedding Photographer (unlikely combination I know!)
But enough about me...

Been browsing here a little while, lots of great info taken on board already, just gearing up to let my E46 touring go so I can fulfil the dream of a Z4. Hopefully a facelift sport.

Does anyone have an opinion on this car?

Hello and welcome! A few mods already done on that car. Stubby, black grills, alloys etc. I wonder if it belonged to someone on here...
 
It's at least a grand overpriced on the sticker let alone after negotiations, and the rims look awful in black IMO. 11k is top money for an early facelife 3.0si, I would only pay that for AUC with all the options. Looks like that one doesn't even have xenons.

He does mention in another ad that he was a member here but I've tried searching and turned up nothing. Perhaps he was a lurker.

Chris thanks, I had already mentioned the price would have to come down, although upon looking I couldn't find any other 3.0 facelift sports at the price range on auto trader.

Good shout on the Xenons, I had missed that.
 
In honesty I do prefer the Ruby black for sale on here but it is beyond my means.

Dunno if that will work! 3.0si AUC £10,995 with massive spec. It seems trade are massively inflating Z4 prices everywhere at the moment, sucks for a potential buyer. I'm likely to be looking at a late pre-facelift (05) with ~60k on it but dealers seem to think these are worth 9-10K!? More like 7-8 at the moment.

At the risk of sounding daft what does AUC mean? I did try searching to no avail.

I think you will have some room for negotiation. £1000 less sounds like where you should aim for this spec.

It is approaching summer so prices probably are rising, but I would not go over £10,000, and I would want a decent warranty with it as well.

Thanks, I think I'll be giving this one a miss now. Lack of Xenon's puts me off, especially if I can get a similar car from BMW 'AUC' :)
 
Black wheels on a black car.. hmmm, not my cup of tea, makes the rims look too small. Interior looks a bit rough, and to be honest for 1k over book it'd have to be really clean with dealer warranty. Rag tops rule!
 
Well, I'm no longer on the cusp, instead I'm 'patiently' waiting for the end of the month to collect!

I've paid the deposit on the car Chris1712 posted up after a bit of negotiating, so cheers for pointing that one out to me!

now the waiting....! :driving:
