Hello all,
Just joined the forum as I am hopefully coming home with my 1st Z4 on Sunday.
Going to see a 2003 2.5i auto in Toledo blue on Sunday morning. Pictures look amazing and having had a long chat with the seller on the phone, he seems pretty genuine.

I've got a company car which I intend to hand in soon and take a car allowance as I don't do many miles for my job and it seems stupid having a car that, well is just a car, when I can have a car that I actually want. Previously owned a Z3 but bikes are my usual thing. Just sold one of my bikes to free up cash to buy the Z4.

It is on 81k with fsh. He's asking £4100. Does this seem about right?

Anything in particular I need to look out for when I view it on Sunday? I do not know the 1st thing about Z4's but I know they are damn fine looking machines. If this one isn't right, I will keep on looking. I will have one!!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joolz

Hi there and welcome aboard. :D Hard to judge the value without seeing the car. Personally I would always go for condition and a good history on higher mileage cars. Plus ask the owner about the cars use, where possible.

Hi and Welcome aboard.

This may interest you and feel free to pop along even if you dont have Zed by then;-

Just check the service history, that the roof operates well (stop it mid cycle and restart it ). You may want to check the spec for things like heated seats too. Also do you particulalry want an Auto box if doing low mileage and want a 'sports car' ?
However, as BuzyG said, a good condition car is more important than having all the toys

Here is a buyers guide:-

Welcome OP.

Some sound advice above - I hope the one you are going to see turns out to be a good example (then we'll get to see the photos).
