Bonjour Mr wilks,
I live in Caen, not far from cities you mentioned

not far at all . will watch out for you when i,m next on the peripherique :) & if you fancy a blast down the A84 i,m at jct39

I often drive on A84, driving to Bretagne .. I will check Z4's with UK plates ;)

raining a lot this week over here .. twice this week my wipers suddently stopped working while driving ..impossible to make them working quickly .. First time it occured, I stopped and restarted the engine .. second time, they worked again after a few minutes ...bit scary, I will have a look at the forum to see if many have had the same problem.

Bienvenue!

Many years ago I lived in Caen for a year when I was a student at L'Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Caen, just by the CHU.

I lived by the Chateau and the University and was a regular in a bar called the Navy just near where the market was on a Sunday.

I still follow SM Caen, after my beloved Bluebirds of course!

Where in Caen are you?

Hi,

I live near the SM Caen :) and streets are full of cars when big games, but less than last years cause we are in second ligue
I know all the places you mentioned :)

Olivier

Brings back great memories. They have a good chance of going back up this season though. It is just staying in Ligue 1 for more than a season or two that seems to be the problem :headbang:

I may be heading back to Caen next year if the Tour comes close, which if rumours are right it will be.......

That is a common problem with the wipers. The only way to get them working again is to turn the ignition off and on again or wait a few minutes and they start again by themselves.

Try this fix here.

Bon chance

really does work & at 50mph + no need for wipers at all

Yup.....I can organise from here, have someone plan a route in France, stop at City Europe on the way back, get a few bottles....

Maybe an overnight thing.....Sat morning early start at 6am at Folkestone and back on Sunday afternoon.....

Springtime would be lovely....

Or maybe a Christmas Hoon....City Europe for drinks at Chrimbo is always a good idea

i can recommend the st sever forest in normandy for exploring your car's capabilities without fear of plod 8)
a bit like the nuburgring but with nobody around ?
