Hello everyone. I'm thinking about buying a Z4 and have my eye on one in particular at the minute. It's a 2005 (55 reg), 2.0SE with 32500 miles on the clock. I had a quick look at it yesterday, but had to be somewhere in a hurry so it was really a quick look. I never got to look at the service manual, but i am going for another look on Sunday so will look at it then. Having done a bit of digging on this forum, am i right in thinking it should have had an oil service and an inspection 1 done? I did switch the ignition on and im sure it said an oil inspection was due in something like 12000 miles, which would take the total mileage up to about 45000. Servicing is generally 15000 miles or two years right?
Also, on the subject of servicing, how much should i be looking at paying for the three different kinds? Are servicing costs of a 2.0 cheaper than that of a 3.0? I know costs vary from region to region and stealer to stealer but im just looking for a ball park figure, if possible. I live in Sunderland if that is of any help, maybe there are some fellow north easterners who can help with this. Thanks in advance!
