Hi all,
First post, but not my first BM ( 328i Coupe, whilst living in US ) now back in the good old North East.
I am waiting on collecting my 2007 3.0 SI Sport Coupe, Auto ( wanted manual but car was too good to pass up AND just around the corner ) Stratus Grey, 40,000 mls, Tinted back glass, 18in M135's, M suspension, M Sports black Oregaon leather seats, M stearing wheel, Brushed aluminium, Pro nav system, cd changer, bluetooth, rain senors, head light cleaners, dimming mirrors, smokers package etc etc

I am naturally like a kid before Christmas but am having to wait for my Plate to be put on it, been a week now and he said it may be tomorrow no later than fri. :D
I have a question tho, I remember being told that it had rear AND front parking sensors, but i cant make out any holes on the front bumper, if there are front sensors would there be holes like there is on the back?

Thanks in advance

Will post pics when she finally comes

Hi, Not that I like to talk about money but I'ts an approved car with a years full warranty, they wanted £13,000. I part exed my old 2001 SLK 200 kompressor with 110,000 miles on it for which they gave me £2000.( its probably only worth £1000 ) You can do the maths.

Thats very decent! I think I know the car as well and it looked great

As Taz says very very very rare to find front parking sensors and they would be retrofit if they were.

Hi welcome to the forum :) where abouts in the North East you based?
You have to get some pictures up when you can. To my knowledge front parking sensors were not available on the E86/E85, unless someone has had them retrofitted?

Yes I thought as much, don't think anything has been retrofit so it was obviously just sales spiel !
I'm in Newcastle Dale, I also just bought a 2002 CBR F-sport in july for my open air fun, am gonna miss the convertable but wanted a coupe.

Typical dealers I guess :( .... Did you purchase the car from Stratstone Tyneside? As I noticed they had a coupe on the forecourt not too long ago.
Nice bike, Coupe and a CBR is a good combination 8)

Yep thats the one, I used to live out in Corbridge many moons ago, still go back on the bike, some good roads round there.

Thanks,
I'm Sure I will, will post some pics when she comes, don't think I'm gonna start mods.....but I do like the csl wheels... :?

I know the car you mean, saw it when I was at the dealers booking my car in for brake fluid change (I am in Holywell, outside of Whitley Bay).

Car looked great  enjoy it!

Very nice. Bet you are looking forward to picking that up.

Can't see any parking sensors on the front.

Sounds lovely - welcome to the forum

There is quite the following in the NE now so you'll have plenty opportunities to get out with fellow Z drivers if you're inclined. And you will not be disappointed with the auto box at all. My last Z had it and I loved it :driving:

Thanks all,
Yes I may do a meet or two. I see there is a North East one on 1st Feb but I am away that weekend. No phone call yet, damn DVLA closing local offices :headbang:
