hi guys thanks for all the comments,

can i ask what hva means ?

thanks

well guys i can be proud to say i will be taking collection of a bmw z4 3.0 si sport convertable in blue with 17k on the clock 2006,

went to see it tonight and got the guy to take me out for a ride in it and loved every minute of it,

next questions

1, can you change the radio in them ? as it currently has a bmw business player which dosnt do mp3's

2. can you add hid kits into the headlights ?

3. weres the cheapest place to get tyres from lol

thanks guys

Congrats on the purchase  Pics as soon as you can

- you can change the radio in them, most people look for an integration solution with the existing radio (intravee, DICE, denison, parrot) but you can replace them (see here, seventh pic)
- Yes, but there is the question of MOT failure with them installed without headlamp washers/levelling kits
- depends on what tyres, popular on here is Vreds. I use internet sites (black circles, mr tyres etc) and compare with a local dealer, who is usually pretty competitive

Hi Sprucy. I can help you out with tyres, I have a tyre business and will do dirty cheap prices for anyone on here. PM if you need any prices. Cheers.

i will dont worry, meant to be picking the car up tomorrow night-- cant wait , my first bmw

thanks for the help everyone * markeg*

it has a built in parrot bluetooth kit so i might see if it can play music via that or if i can get a aux in

the car has headlight washers so im guessing it should be fine ?

thanks telstar i will contact you when i need some - a long time i hope lol,

well apart from that guys not much more to say

whats the sound modd people do ? is it easy to do and does it lower mpg ?

thanks guys

well guys tonights here, picking up the bmw in 3 and a half hours must say i feel like a child before xmas , very excited

whats the quality like on the bmw business stero ?

thanks marc

Sound generator is a two minute mod, and other than making the car sound good (which prompts you to exercise your right foot :D) does not impact mpg.

Nice to see you got the car.

and whats the sound generator mod ??? whats it do ? :driving:

Good luck for tonight, and enjoy the trip back

If you go the HID route for your headlights, its the self-levelling aspect that you might fall foul of at MOT time - see here for a quick explanation. I've heard guys say they will just swap them out at MOT time for some standard H7 Halogens - not sure how your local MOT station will handle it (may be worth a word with them?)
