Newb from the "saaf" but residing in the North East

Hi all

I've been reading posts on this forum for ages now so thought its only right that I finally joined.

Got my z4 about 6 months ago and am still absolutely loving it. I always thought the styling was spot on and having driven a few in the past I couldn't resist getting one once I finished uni and had a bit of cash to spare. Haven't done any mods yet but am thinking of maybe adding an exhaust for a bit more grunt and some twin pipes, upgrade the sound system, and maybe if I'm feeling flash some cup holders!! Any other suggestions would be appreciated (hopefully a pic will be shown below if I've done the upload thingy right).

For now will keep checking the weather in anticipation of a sunny day to get the roof down :D

Cheers

Hi and welcome. Don't wait for a sunny day - any non-rainy day is good for the top off!

Enjoy l :driving:

Cheers. Couldn't agree more ha had it down in some questionable weather but only when the mrs isn't there (she's not convinced  )

I know what you mean. Mrs R is not a massive fan until we get really warm and sunny weather, then all of a sudden she wants to take the Zed to work! :D

Hi and welcome. My mrs is the same, usually only roof down on the way home after an event as she isn't so worried about her hair

Welcome

Get those cup holders soon, there was a worldwide shortage not so long ago :o

Hi and welcome...

Heater on heated seats on top down
Each time I've got my son in the car he shouts 'Push the button...' Don't need to ask twice :driving:

Enjoy your car... Nice colour

Welcome aboard  I know what you mean about lurking about on here, i'd been following for a while before i plucked up the courage to press that SUBMIT button :fingertap:

Obviously I love the colour, the M Sport wheels, seats and suspension.
More pics when you're ready - inside and out.

Hi DrMad, nice Zed (they do look good in silver) - welcome to the Forum.

In the North East eh - come join us on a 'hoon' (Take a look at the postings for previous NE runs in Meets/Events/Roadtrips) and add another dimension to your Zed ownership. A great group of people of all ages and all types of Zeds on some fabulous roads.

Going to be posting our next run for the end of April, very soon - watch out for it and come along.

:driving:

Cheers for the invite, definitely up for coming along to a NE run, had a look at some pics from previous ones looks like a good laugh with some nice roads. Will keep a look out for the next one.

PeterZed, haven't done any mods yet (not even got a stubby!). Will probably sort the sound system out first as i's a bit pants at the moment then will look to upgrade the exhaust for something a bit more meaty. I'm considering getting a set of lm wheels as one of the zeds I looked at when buying had them with bmw center caps and it looked the dogs but I do like the mv2s so will probably stick with them for the time being.
