New zed. A few issues.

So I’ve just bought a zed with a known roof issue. The last owner said that he pulled the red lever in the boot by mistake and it stopped the roof from working. Apparently the mechanism can become stiff when putting the cable back into the position to enable the hydraulics? And you can push it back in at the motor.

I am in the Leicester area so wondered if there is anyone on the forum who would be able to their services to look at this for me? Obviously I would be more than happy to pay for this.

There are several 'roof' experts scattered around the UK - not sure who's the closest, but I'm sure you will get sorted either with advice over the forum or going to them direct. Just be patient and you will get a response soon.
 
Daryl, what happens when you press the roof open button? Does the motor spin up? Do the Windows drop and/or roof unlatch?
 
Well the passenger side window needs the regulator replacing so at the moment that doesn’t go down. But the drivers side window goes down and the roof unlatches but then after that nothing happens.
