New Z4M owner

Hi all,

Back into roadster ownership via a 996 C2, unfortunately I had to return to work so the wife collected it for me. Wonderful car, totally blown over during the 2 test runs and cannot wait to drive it properly!

Welcome How does it compare to the porker?

Hi, apart from the top down experience they appear evenly matched in power delivery, the M has 40 brake more, but is approx 120 kg heavier. The porker has an exhaust mod with a K&N and sounds great at any speed. I can't give a meaningful comparison due to nil experience of the M except that if felt raw and uncompromising, a bit brutal and I will need time on seat to learn it.

Can wait though, that engine note is great with the roof down, happy days ahead!
