Gents,
I picked up my 2007 Z4M Coupe yesterday and she's a beauty. I was also very pleasantly surprised when i found the Aux socket under the dash and an iPod dcok connector in my glove box - happy days. Now having had the BMW iPod kit fitted to my old Z4 3.0SI roadster i was reasonably familiar with its workings (Playlist BMW1, BMW2 etc)
However having setup a spare 40Gb iPod it would seem that there is a problem somewhere, hence the help. The symptoms are as follows
Connect iPod (it is Mac formatted) - Confirms on the iPod Screen BMW - OK (which is good!)
Select CDC from the Mode key
iPod plays from BMW1 playlist for about 3secs before cutting back to the radio.
Take the CDC Cassette out from the CD Changer you can't select the iPod and No Magazine comes up on Nav Screen.
Put the Mag back in and whilst the Mag is checked the iPod works fine, even selecting the different playlists.
Now I'm stumped, 2x iPods (original 40Gb as well as a newer 60Gb Video) tested, and i'm no wiser.
Any help would be very welcome chaps.
