Just picked up my Z4C in Montego Blue tonight which I bought from my friend.

OH MY GOD! What a car! I absolutely love it and can't wait til the morning so that I can drive it to work!

It was getting dark when I collected it so haven't had chance to take any pictures yet. Will try to do it tomorrow though.

The car as far as I'm aware (according to various insurance websites when I put number plate in) is a Coupe Z4 SI SE which has the following spec:
Xenon headlights
MFSW (///M)
Bluetooth
Parking sensors
Heated seats
18 inch alloys
Sport button

I looked on the BMW warranty site and it comes up as a SI Sport. How do I know which it is?

Either way, I'm looking forward to being part of this awesome community and hope to learn a lot from you all about the car and how to get the best from it.

Welcome to the exclusive coupe club! Not many around on the roads. I'm new here too, had mine 9 months and still thrilled with it.
I could be wrong but I believe if it has a sport button it's an SI SPORT.
Enjoy!

nobody really knows what defines a Sportrt from an SE, an SE can be spec with almost any option so its hard to tell

The SE has a sport button too, in fact its an identical engine to the Sport. The SE has more forgiving (better  ) suspension than the Sport IMO. And as Taz says the SE can be spec'd with the same as the Sport - ie. M sport seats, M sport wheels, MFSW. Anyway, looking forward to your pics of what sounds like a lovely Zed

Hi and welcome.

Description sounds nice. Looking forward to the pics (tomorrow! ).

Enjoy :driving:

Congratulations OP - has anyone welcomed you to the exclusive Coupe club yet? :D

Montego Blue is a great colour - what interior do you have, or do we need to wait for the photos?

I know everyone on here wants them soonest, but when I got mine all I wanted to do was drive it - not take pictures!

Still I hope we get some if you manage to stop long enough in daylight hours!

As far as SE / Sport goes AFAIK all Sport features were available as options on SEs, so it is hard to tell! If BMW warranty says Sport, it probably is! I checked mine on an online site - BMWVin.com which said it was a Sport (as did the V5). One clue is if it doesn't have Sport seats it is definitely an SE with options. (Standard wheels on an SE were 17 inch but I test drove an SE with 18s, but no Sport seats).

But who really cares, both have the wonderful N52 engine in the same state of tune, so just enjoy it when you floor it! :driving:

If it has a black headlining it's more likely to be a sport.

M sport seats and a nice chunky steering wheel are also standard Sport equipment.

What wheels are on it. SE came with 17" where as Sport would be 18" MV2's or composite 108's.

Welcome to the Coupe club, nice to have new blood :). I've had mine nearly a year now, and that feeling hasn't gone away yet.

Like srhutch said, check the headlining, light = SE, dark = sport.

Mines officially an SE, but with MFSW, MSport seats, 18" wheels and, now, sport suspension. So the only SE thing left is the lighter headlining. Which is nice

Looking forward to the pics mate, good luck with the Coupe :)

Does it not confirm whether it is an SE or an SI Sport on the V5?

Mine certainly states it.

Anyway whichever it is, you have a cracking car so enjoy it!

I haven't got the V5 yet, my mate has misplaced it so he's off to check his parent's tonight, but it is a cracking car and I am enjoying it thoroughly :D

It's got black headlining and the chunky steering wheel and seats (I think). It's also on 18 inch 108's.

All in all, I'm not worried whether it's a SE or a Sport but just wanted to check for insurance purposes. It's currently covered as an SE with mods. :?

I'll try and take the pics when I get home from work. It's desperate for a good cleaning inside and outside could be a lot better too! I better get checking the detailing and cleaning area of the forum!

Welcome to the site! I just picked up my Monaco Blau Coupe a week or so ago :D

Absolutely loving it so far :driving:

Oh and
:worthless:

Managed to take a couple of very amateurish photos but they'll have to do for now until I get round to taking some quality pics.

Forgive me if it doesn't work right....

That's an Si model, says so on the tin.

They are all Si models and then vary between SE or Sport I.e. 3.0Si SE or 3.0Si Sport.

That's what I learnt in the run up to buying the car from the helpful posts on this forum.

Every day is a school day. I assumed that the S of Si stands for sport. I guess as mines a sport I thought that.
