Hi folks. I have just bought my 1st Z4 after wanting one for many years. I always loved the Z4 Convertible, but when the Z4 Coupe was released, i was gob smacked! I have been watching the one i bought for ages, and only went to look at it to see what i'd get for my 330Ci. Long story short, i walked out of the Showroom having bought my dream car, i collected it yesterday. Here are some pictures, i hope you like it?

Welcome. The interior looks really good. The last two pictures are very very nice. Enjoy your ride.

OOOOhhh..that color combination is "superb", both the interior and exterior...........
and Welcome to the forum.. :)

Welcome, great looking car ... I suppose that now you have bought the Zed you can only afford to live in one of the beach huts in the first photo? :D

Well, firstly, thanks for the nice comments about the car, it seems the interior has struck a chord with a few people, along with the colour!

I have been driving the car for a few days now, and 1st impressions are that I LOVE IT! I didn't know quite what to expect having come from a 330Ci, but this is an animal compared to that! I suspect the 6 sp manual as opposed to the 5 sp auto in the 330Ci have something to do with it, but when you push on in 3rd or 4th gear, the pull and the engine noise are just awesome. I don't think petrol are tyres are going to last long with this car!

On the subject of petrol, what is the realistic average for this car with manual 'box if driven sensibly? A bit of motorway work, going to the supermarket, and the occasional blast too :)

MonsterZ4, great colour :)

My old 3.0 used to only do 21-22mpg but most people always got more than that, and yours is the newer engine which should be marginally better, so probably around 26-28 overall, and you might see 33-35 on a motorway run.

My fuel computer always over-read by 2-3 compared to working it out manually.

Welcome, and liking the colour :)

I get around 30 mpg on the older engine, gone up slightly since fitting cruise control..

Congrats

I get 18 MPG in the city (with fairly aggressive acceleration/driving), and 32-34 MPG while cruising on the highways.
