New Z4 owner - Mini detail

Hi guys,

Picked up my first Z4 yesterday. I must say, it's unlike anything I have ever driven before - refined but a bit of beast when necessary.

I gave it a quick wash/hand polish yesterday, but as the weather was good today (no rain & no sun) I thought I would give it a light detail.

I started off with some Menz 203s with a white hex-logic pad, followed by Prima Amigo on a black hex-logic pad.

I then applied a sample I had of Auto Finesse Illusion on the rear half of the car & Dodo Juice Purple Haze on the front.

Tyres were then dressed with Megs Endurance, exhaust polished with Autosol & glass cleaned with Auto Finesse Crystal.

Here are my first pics and the results:

Plans are currently small: Add the final B&W badges and clear side repeaters, new plates and a stubby aerial.

Cheers :)

Looks good.

From a detailing perspective, I think it's really beneficial to remove the wheels and clean the barrels and rotor hats - then Opti Coat them. I think it really makes the car stand out.
