New Z4 Owner from Germany!

Heya everyone, :) New to the Z4 world, I have been lurking away in this forum looking around many topics and I really like the wealth of information and community it still has compared to many others in this day of social media. :tumbleweed:

Long time BMW driver here, have had dozens and dozens of them, started my business a decade ago around them, but never had a Z4. A friend of mine who passed away last year had the first ever Z1 registered by BMW with the M54 Engine, was a interesting car, the way you sit on them. I had that for 2 years.

Meanwhile now, here I found myself a great looking Z4 all the way in North of Germany. Drove up there, the interior was all in pieces, guy was doing a track build but hell was it trashed out a bit. Needs some TLC, but overall, great car, has a new M54B30 motor in it that has less than 60K miles, a ton of other mods done to it. I will post a few pictures here.

I joined up as I plan to do a build log and have questions for you wonderful folks here so I can go back and drive around till I am ready for the Supercharger build. :driving:

Hi and welcome to the forum.

That sounds like quite a project you have taken on but we'd love to see some photos!

Not sure why you've had that issue with posting. :?

Hello, welcome and congratulations on your rebuilding project :D Where about's in Germany do you hail from? I'm off to Hohenwedsted next week for a couple of days.

Thanks Guys, Here is a picture I took the day I got it. Darn was the owner kept it dirty, took off the seats today and cleaning the carpet, coffee still underneath it. Jesus. By the time I am done, it will be a mean machine alright. Loved my drive back that took me all night. These are such lovely cars!

I will post more photos maybe in a month or so with my Rebuilding project, getting lots of photos now. Will post specifications too. Currently looking for a Tuner who can flash it for some more oomph, deleted the downstream O2 sensors as well as has headers, full Eisenmann exhaust, other goodies..

Next to my 1 Series.

Heya! Thanks. So I am located near Heidelberg. Originally from New Zealand. I just have my business in Europe, We make Twin Screw Superchargers and Supercharger Kits for BMW's and other cars. This Z4 may come with me to Australia next. If you are nearby, drop me a line, we can grab a drink or such! :D
