New Z4 owner from ESSEX

Hi Everyone,

I've been having a butchers on the forum for the past few weeks. Love seeing some of the Z4's on here, used to drive an Abarth Grande Punto - but tomorrow my new Z4 20i M sport 13 plate arrrives.

Gone for Sapphire black with 19inch alloys & heated seats. Excited is an understatement. Delivery is due tomorrow, just in time for the long easter weekend. Lets hope we have some sun (for a change). :thumbsup:

I will be posting photo's tomorrow once it has been delivered ( to my door -that's service for you! lol)

Looking forward to chatting on here, seems a nice forum to be part of!!

I know the feeling i only had to wait a week to pick mine up. Took ages picked it up on my birthday best present ever!!!
 
Absolutely fuming - I have waited indoors all day on Good Friday. No call from the delivery driver - nothing.
Spoke to BMW Thursday afternoon to confirm delivery and they made sure everything was in place for today. I even double checked as I thought it was strange for a Good Friday home delivery, but the Corporate staff (who I was dealing with) are not in the office until Tuesday now so I cant speak to her.

I even booked off today from work to ensure I would be around to take the delivery and lost a days money. Sorry to moan but I need to vent my anger.

How can BMW confirm delivery for today, I've wasted my entire day, made plans to use the car over the weekend and no one even contact me to say delivery is not possible.

I called BMW Stoke on Trent this afternoon and the receptionist said there is no one available to deal with my enquiry over the weekend, how can there be no one supervising the drivers?

Does anyone know how I would go about speaking to someone over the weekend to see where my car is?

A total bummer Jack , can well understand your frustration & on this occasion you will not be asked for pics :P

All I can do is just sit and wait for my phone to ring, which means i'm constantly on tentahooks waiting around. Maybe Easter isn't going to be as enjoyable as I thought!!
 
unfortunately, speaking over a phone doesn't have the same impact as going into the dealer and kicking up a fuss.
 
Might be a stupid question but if it's at the dealers can you not pick it up.

I wouldn't want somebody driving my brand new car anyway.

So.... I received a call yesterday morning about 9.30 from BMW saying they totally overlooked my delivery and will be sending it out that day!!

2.30pm and it arrives...

Finally!! I will be taking plenty of photos today and will post them a little later!! Watch this space :) one happy man... (I will still be taking up a complaint re their customer service however) ...
