New Z4 owner - Any hidden extras?

Hi - Just wondering whether there are any more hidden extras/secrets I should know about my Z4? It's a 2003 2.5se.

So far, I have found out.....

...the roof will go up/down using the key in the door - but not with the key on 2003 cars
...there's a factory fitted first aid kit under the passenger seat
...the stereo has speakers in the doors but no subs/amp so might be upgraded, might not? (reading the other posts I'm not sure)


Are there any other little hidden gems I should know about??

Push the right pedal all the way down and the car makes a nice sound!

Depending on the sound system you have, you may have subs in the footwell and with the premium system, Carver subs behind the seat. Amp is in the trunk/boot on all systems.

you could also invest in the BMW TIS from ebay (about a tenner)...

I seem to have a pair of speakers in the footwells, A pair in the doors (will check if they're not just covers only), a pair of tweeters in the doors and a pair behind the seats.. There's also some grills sort of half way behind the seats. Not sure whether they're speaker grills or air vents. Need to doo more investigating!!

Your amp, if you have one, will be in the boot beside the battery. Sounds like you have one of the speaker upgrades if you have the subs behind the seats.
