New Z4 GT3 race car at Silverstone (UK). GT3 Series opener

I went to the opening round of the European GT3 series today (2-4-10) and the new Z4 GT3 race car was in the entry field.
The Shubert Racing "Need for Speed" team fielded 2 cars.

The Sunday I went on was race 2 of the GT3 champs as race 1 was on Saturday.

Fantastic looking car in the metal/carbon! Sounded awesome!! They both finished strong in 5th and 9th!

The cars look awesome. They did not have their own garages at pitlane? Chevrolet Corvette finished 1st today?
 
No. The GT3 had the area behind the pits. The GT1 teams had the main pit garages. Pics don't do them justice! The Ferrari car just looked plain boring next to it!
 
Watched the races on TV and the 5th place in the second race was a good effort in a class filed of Ferrari, Porshe, Lambo, Aston, Vette, etc.
Like this series due to the skill calssification of drivers from Platinum to Bronze and the equalling rules EG a gold driver has to pair with a bronze, 2 silver together, etc.. Day 1 1st driver has to be day 2nd driver.

As for the Zed - Nice looking car.

I fully appreciate the rear wing for race conditions but woudl prefere to see them all without as slightly closer to road cars
