New Z4 35i Owner - how long is production?

Hello everyone.
I'm excited to say I placed my order for a 2011 Z4 35i 2 weeks ago:
- manual transmission (this was a must...)
- metallic black sapphire, beige kansas leather, ash wood trim
- premium package
- premium sound
- cold weather package
- bmw apps (6NR)
- PDC
- navigation
- comfort access

The wait for the car is honestly the most painful wait, I've ever experienced in my life.
I was notified today that my car has gone from "on order" to "started production".

Does anyone have an estimate on how long it takes from "started production" to "ready for pickup"?

Bear in mind that all z4 roadsters are now built in Regensberg plant back in the fatherland.

So US delivery will be different to Europe.
Not sure how long shipping takes.

Of course everything is much more efficient and customer orientated in the US
So I wouldn't be surprised if you get delivery weeks before me even though I ordered on Tuesday 22 March.

For the record I was told week 20 build (16 May) and delivery end of June.
 
I ordered mine 10 days ago and it's due for delivery week 3-4 in June.

It depends on when your dealership has available production slots I think. I was lucky that my dealer had a spec-changeable car about to go into production.
If they have none scheduled they gave to look for a national slot, it gets priority over unsold vehicles from other dealers who have slots but haven't sold cars.

But yeah...about 4 weeks!!
 
Thanks guys. I'm currently tracking my vessel "Tirranna" across the atlantic. Should get to New York by 5/23, and can probably pick it up at the end of the month.
