Going to put some money in to the motor this month, but not in mods, just general TLC.

Going to do the basic oil change, plug change, ICV clean, throttle body clean. Think I might change my throttle position sensor while I'm at it as I have a touch of the engine hesitation thing going on intermittently.

So, quite simply, is there a guide on here for changing the TPS?
 
Not as such but there's a link to the M TIS manual somewhere which gives you a guide to taking the intake manifold apart, which is the hardest bit. Once that's off, all will reveal itself underneath it :) Google should provide the link for you
 
A few times yes, the worst bit is the clips on the intake manifold going to the throttle bodies, I would get a few spare incase you have to break any getting them off, only a couple of quid. Depends on who put them on last time
 
Well, the first time you do it put aside a whole morning or afternoon so your not rushing or it can be a bit of a slow process the first time. After that i can have the whole lot off in about half an hour now. just knowing what clips/unclips where etc.
If your half competent with tools you'll be fine, just give yourself time.
