Nice!

I would suggest a Gliptone clean and condition for that wheel and drivers seat.
Why do you say that? The nappa leather looks as good as new in the flesh- not shiny like the pics- is there something different about the nappa leather that requires more regular treatment?

Had the previous model for a decade and was without doubt the best car of it's type I ever owned. 100k and never missed a beat or needed any work aside a pair of rear bushes.

I'd take the oval window Beetle too if I could :)

Cheers Phil, I remember the pics of your x5- was tempted to buy it when you sold it!

I can tell you I miss it on so many levels too. So easy to ship 'stuff' around. It could also tow a 2 ton Jeep with ease and drag it up a wet campsite.

With the Jag you have to consider if things fit and towing - make me laugh - with rwd you're luck to move on a wet lawn

Perfect combination, an X5 and a Zed

Thanks- been planning/hunting to add the x5 for years and am now very happy with the cars we have- mustn't forget the beetle or Kelly will be grumpy!

Nope thats RRS and Zed ......an X5 and a Zed is a very good combination
Debated the RRS but just couldn't cope with the image and the potential unreliability. The X5 IMHO is the perfect all rounder and in SE Dynamic trim has less chelsea tractor/drug dealer image than the RRS or even X5 msport- again only my HO. Thanks guys for the kind comments.

wish I had gone for the new x5 that's out in nov chickened out ordered a x3 with all the goodes 16 week wait now

I debated the x3 as well as a new car but like the idea of owning my car rather than pcp on a new one as this will suit our needs when we have mini paddys!
The new X5 doent appeal to mee- in the flesh it may be better but at the mo
