New wheels

Ok, so now i've decided to keep my beauty I need some help with getting some new rims for her. :D
I was going to get the 326's in graphite on the 'new car' but now the world's my oyster.
Bearing in mind I have space grey, do you think graphite or matte black would look nice or should I stick with silver?
Also should I stick with BMW wheels or am I ok to go elsewhere? Never bought wheels before (unless they were attached to the car)
Also should I stick with the 18" and use my run flats which are all pretty new, or go 19" and ditch the run flats, which will cost me a lot more in tyres?

These 326 wheels are really beautiful.
I'm out of touch, do they suffer cracking problems?

ALPINA make some outstanding wheels with the valve system located in the hub, aesthetically clever.
They had an 18" set for the E85...wonder if these fit ours...............?

Always a personal decision, I'm another fan of the BMWs Style 326, they just suit the Zed to a tee downside is theyre expensive for what they are. I don't think multispoke designs suit the Z4 somehow and are just a pain to keep clean. Colourwise as your Zed is grey I would definitely stick with silver for contrast, black IMHO would ruin the car lookswise, a subtle graphite might work. Again personal preference whether to stick with runflats, for most determining factor is cost but I would prefer to stick with them.

If you do go aftermarket stick with a well known brand but remember you won't be able to use the runflats. I went with AC Schnitzers Type 3s one piece for the Z3, 8.5x18 pricey at £1900 but well pleased with them and easy to clean without taking the wheels off :) Tyre wise I went for Falken 452s which unless you really push the car all the time are a great tyre for the price.

Schnitzers on the Z3.

If you are going down the aftermarket route, keep and eye on the offsets, as a general rule of thumb you can go 5mm either way and as the number gets lower the more they stick out. Your current sizes and offsets are 18 x 8 x 29 front and18 x 8.5 x 40 rear, if the offset is larger than 5mm you can fit spacers which makes a bigger number smaller.

I have BBS style CK on mine and I think they look really good, if you you go for 19" fitting non RFT's will make the ride similar to your current 18's

I wonder if VMRs would suit an E89.... they look great on the E85, but can't quite picture them on an E89
