New Wheels ON - Run Flats GONE (with pic)

Had always intended to change the wheels on my 35i - the 326M's are nice but not quite what I had in mind when I bought the car. The 326's aren't cracked or damaged at all but I fancied something a bit different.

And over the 11,000 miles of driving so far the run flats, whilst OK, have become more of a compromise when thinking just what the car might be like without them. Whilst I'm no run flat hater the car has changed dramatically with the addition of a set of Continental ContiSport 6's. I'll not rabbit on about the benefits of the changes - it's all been done: suffice to say that driving over cat's eyes is now a tickle rather than a smack round the back of the head.

Anyway, here's a phone pic - hope you like the choice of wheel (but it's OK if you don't).

Anyone have any suggestions for a viable alternative to Photo*!!^$$....?

PB won't allow linking anymore unless you pay.
So looks like they are now going to lose any advertising revenue as folks go elsewhere.

It was shite anyway , the speed the last 18months was woeful & the constant pop ups super annoying :x pushed me to trying a few places & now found GooglePics works well , free & whilst not quite as user friendly as PB you can work it out

I'm still try to suss out Google Photos. Can get as far as a copyable link but that doesn't embed a photo. Anyone had any success on this or found another site? I've also tried imgur and dropbox.

That looks really smart, do you mind letting me know some details as I'm thinking of changing the 326's on mine.

Are they 19's ?
Are they staggered ? If so is it 9 Fr and 10 R or 8.5 Fr and 9.5 R
Are you on MSport Suspension and if so what tyre sizes did you opt for ?

:)

Looks great

You don't need PB as you can upload photos to the site when posting :)

Except for signature :x

Love the wheels colour v style matches well.

Flickr is my fav for pics btw.

Should have mentioned it. The wheels are by Beyern, http://www.beyernwheels.com/BMW_wheels_beyern_aviatic.php

Style is Aviatic

Sizes are:-
Front: 19 x 8.5 ET30, centre bore is 72.6 (as BMW) with Continental ContiSport 6, 235/35R19 91XL (EA72)

Rear: 19 x 9.5 ET35, same CB with Continental ContiSport 6, 265/30/R19 93XL EA73

I sourced them through Rimstyle http://www.rimstyle.com/alloywheels/detail/?car_model_id=1618&year=2014&s=ngK7X8sr who included wheel mounted TPMS sensors and new lock bolts (which turned out I didn't need) in the package.

Yes, the car has M Sport suspension.

Here're a few more pics............

Thanks, you're very kind.

These photos are hosted by ImageShack so will disappear in 29 days time when the trial membership fizzles out unless I fork out $18.99 pa - seems a bit unlikely. How do I upload direct to this site.....?

.......look OEM too

And that, for me, is an essential part of the selection process.

Given the wide variety of styles available from so many different manufacturers it's so easy to indulge a whim and then have difficulty living with the consequences. Something that looks like OEM, or maybe allied to an OEM style theme is likely to sit easier on the eye for longer because of the association.

It took me a long time to settle on these as my OCD kicked in and variations from Breyton, OZ Racing, Hamann and loads of others got spreadsheeted, photoshopped and powerpointed to death.

But that's just me - and we all like different things, so that's OK too!
