Well, just got 2 new front tyres fitted (Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2) at 35,000 miles
Original tyres - Replaced due to age rather than worn

A mile or two out of the garage the red tyre warning light and buzzer comes on
Stopped and checked tyres - nothing obvious.
Tried ignition on/off a few times and pressed re-set button
Eventually light went to Orange and then off

Returned to the garage, where they checked tyre pressures and fault codes (none)
Put down to a sensor 'hissy fit'
Drove 6 miles home, no issues
Anyone else had this experience?

Yep sounds like a hissy fit to me. Had the amber light come on a few time, in five yearss. Thus far it's always been a hissy fit. Never a real problem. :)

phew - that's good then
next stop MOT on Monday, then oil & filters changed next week-end

Yup
New wheels and tyres on mine a while back
5 miles down road
And sensor pinged up
Apparently common when new tyres put on

Pressed and held till light when out and checking pressures
And all good

First thing you need to do when you have a tyre replaced is to reset the TPS otherwise this will happen.

I had the same thing happen to me, I was on my way to a car meet and met up with Andy C from the forum. He showed me how to reset the light.
Is the TPS reset the same as when the light has come on then ??
