Got new Tyres fitted yesterday and on a drive out today I noticed there is some slight vibration/wobble now through the steering wheel, nothing major, but it certainly wasn't there before.

Any ideas? I thinking of getting somewhere to re-check the balance. (I wasn't impressed with th enlace that fitted them and certainly wouldn't go back there again).

Probably not balanced properly although there might be a chance that the tire's carcass itself isn't exactly round. A small chance though. Perhaps contact the tire manufacturer and give them the production date of your tire, maybe it was a bad batch or something. I'd run them as is and see what's it like after 100 or so miles.

Sounds very much like they didn't balance them properly, or a weight has come off, go back to the fitters and ask them to recheck the balance.

What size and make of tyres have you had fitted?

SOunds like balancing. An trainee tyre fitter got the balancing all wrong when I got the tyres done on my old 3 series. Had to go back to get them re done :headbang:

Also if you can watch them do the balancing and make sure they clean the inside surface of your alloys before applying the weights. I've seen them try to stick them over the dirt and grime before.

I'll check them again in a week.. the Tyre fitter was not the best and had a hell of a job getting the rear tyres on (Not to mention having trouble getting the wheels off the hubs, they were stuck on)

Not uncommon having trouble getting wheels off the hubs due to corrosion. A little encouragement with a rubber mallet usually does the job.

Thats a bit of a mean thing to do to a tyre fitter?

At least it is if you do it before they scuff your alloys
