I've just bought a 2007 Z4M Coupe, black on black with 24K miles. The car is a weekender and replaces a Porsche Cayman GTS. Not as refined but a real thing of beauty to own and promises to be great to drive when I finally get used to the manual gearbox! :oops: :headbang: . I bought the car for some fun so am keen to meet other members and attend events / meetings and talk to other petrol heads.

Where are you based? There is usually plenty of meets being arranged in that section of the Forum. Hopefully something near you :thumbsup:
 
Hi and welcome.

24k miles is low, maybe one of the lowest. With the ///M gearbox you need to be rather assertive and change quickly. It doesn't take well to leisurely shifts. The shift from 1st to 2nd takes a bit of practice as well. But once you get used to the foibles of the gearbox everything else is wondrous!
