Hi Everyone
I've owned my Z for a few weeks now so thought it was about time I introduced myself. The name's Gary, I live just north of Newcastle and I'm 45 (that's code for old git). I've recently decided it's time to hang up the boots regarding 'in-your-face' performance cars (V8-RX7) and get into something more civilised. I had a hankering for a soft top - never having owned one before - and wanted something fun. Looked at all the usual suspects; MX5, MR2, S2000 etc. and decided the Z4 was the one for me. Picked mine up a few weeks back, changed a few things but won't get the modding bug - it's restore, maintain and enjoy for me. It's a 3.0 SE on a 54 plate, full BMW history with 37k on the clock, usual spec (heated sport seats, rear parking sensors, 10 speaker sound etc). I've changed the rear lights from all clear back to stock (I like the orange centre's!), changed some badly corroded 108's for some nice 202's and retro fitted cruise. Looks like a decent bunch on this forum from what I've read so far, hope to meet some of you in the near future. The mandatory couple of pics below:
Cheers
Gary
