Hi guys n gals new to the site so please be patient with me . I bought my z4 with the insurance money from my motorcycle accident and have been buying parts to show it off a bit more . Cannot fit them yet or drive it either as my ankle is in plaster . I dò have one urgent question mine is a 2006 roadster 2.0 will an interior fit from a 2011 and does mine have seat air bags . Cheers for any help

Hi and welcome

First things first hope your are ok after the accident - must be a killer to have a new car that you can’t drive yet, something to look forward to at least!

You have the e85 z4, the later generation z4 the e89 has a totally different interior so in short no it won’t fit.

There are no airbags inside any of the seats on the e85 but there are behind the door cards.

Better get us a picture before the photo police come along :police:

Hi joe
Hope you recover soon and get behind the wheel of the new ZED .welcome to the forum from Essex
And .... don’t forget to send pictures .... we love pictures :driving:

Hi and welcome Joe.

It's unusual to find being on here saving people money - it usually encourages members to spend money.

Mind you you've now got a plan for some wheels, so all is not lost!

Hopefully you'll be able to start using your Z4 soon - then you can post some photos. :)

Hi Joe, I remember the comic strip from the 80’s
Enjoy your zed, closer to biking than most cars!

Hi Joe and welcome, Having a poorly ankle in plaster is no excuse for no pictures, after all you dont need to use it to take a picture or 2

Welcome to the forum
Just realised I've not put any pictures of my Zed on here.
Also just realised that I don't have any pictures of my Zed after 3years of ownership.
Think I better pull my finger out!

Most important 1st... I’m sure as a visitor u know the rules of :worthless:

You have come to precisely the right place for how to save money... the knowledgable people here will expertly guide you how not to spend £1700 on a set of CSL’s, with MrWilks sourcing a set of reps for £800 instead... which must be cared for with a complete new suspension... shod with Brembo 6 pots that someone selling their car will let you have at a fabulous discount of £1k

I can go on... but clearly here is money saving heaven... welcome & speedy recovery
