Thanks for adding me. I've been a Z fan since I got my first BMW back in 2001. It was a 1997 Z3 1.9L Roadster. I got hooked on roadsters back in the late 80s when I had two Triumph TR6s - first one was a 1971 - totaled it street racing, then got a 1969, which I ended up selling.

Anyway, got the 1997 Z3 and loved it - drove it for years until I had kids - sold it for a 4-seater. Now, my kids are older and driving, so no need for more than 2 seats in my car. Picked up this low mileage 2008 Z4M Roadster a couple of years ago and it's my favorite BMW so far. Even after 2 years, I take any opportunity I can to run errands, or just get out on the road, preferably top down.

Here's a shot of the 1969 TR6 I had, then my 1997 Z3, then my current Z4MR.

Welcome to the forum OP.

That's a lovely looking Z4MR you have there! (But I can see why you wish you still had the TR6).

Thanks srhutch and enzed4. The badge is a BMW Car Club of America badge in M colors - the one in the upper left of this pic.
