So as the title suggests i've done the above, and Hi everyone as it's been a while since my last confession.
Last weekend I replaced the rear tyres as they were in need of tread, After i ditched the runflats it came with i went with Falken 452's all round, then when they needed replacing I got the 453's as the 2's discontinued. Now this time around after seeing the Falkens have gone up in price for no reasonable reason (one tyre place guy said Falken are thinking they're better than they are these days lol) I noticed the GoodYear Eagle F1 A2's are going for ok money.
In the end I found the F1's for £111 each free delivery from oponeo.com and got them fitted and balanced for £25 at a local place.
Today I thought it's best time I check the drains as the drivers side had some standing water in. I was first think of borrowing a jack from my cousin but then thought sod it i'll try it without
I managed to reach under the car and remove the rubber part at the bottom and run a thick wire up there with a bit of material on the end, this then started dripping but then after some prodding and poking from the top it suddenly let go and emptied it's self rather quick. Fortunately the passenger side seems clear and dry already.
Then today went round all the wheels inside and out with Meguiars Hot wheels, Auto Glym tyre dressing and Auto Glym Alloy wheel seal so they're looking sexy and shiny now
Next month I have some time off so am replacing the discs and pads all round, going for a forum favourite in Mtec drilled grooved discs and EBC RedStuff pads and can't wait to see them on the car as the current rotors are looking pants to say the least!
Any way thats enough rambling for now...
except for the fact i had to have a new airbag control unit fitted a month ago for the bargain price on £600!! (spent 4 months tried to find an old one but to no avail)
