Well i bit the bullet yesterday and took the Z to BMW Synter Nottingham for the investigation of why my roof wasnt working...today my bank account is £1100 lighter but my roof goes up and down..but i think the Z will be going back to them tomorrow because when fully down the red light is still flashing.............oh and they seem to have kept my service history booklet

Yikes! £1,100 is steep :tumbleweed:

Just in time for the weather though..... and you can't put a price on that. Imagine having having a roof that wouldnt go down in this weather... or even worse, a coupe

Ouch! What was the fault?

If the answer is the motor then the solution is to chase BMW for goodwill! Good luck!
