So the lovely Liz Truss is now our new leader. I'm sure many will join me in saying, in public........

I COULDN'T CARE LESS. :D

Looks like we've been Trussed up.
Have you checked her profile view?
I wonder if she paid to get a Thatcher nose?

I haven't bothered following the choice of Tory leader seeing as we get lumbered with whoever the party members select, but I hope she is a bit more effective than our last female PM. :headbang:

Personally I'd have rather just kept Boris!

What ever party they are all just in it for the status. At least he was a good laugh. :D

Could be worse.

We could have Starmer propped up by the Lib Dems and Nicola Sturgeon

Might be more interesting than Boris if she decides not to wear a bra

Glad I just about managed to keep my dinner down!

Yes it would be so much better if it was just Starmer, let’s be honest he’s a much better proposition than what we’ve got now, okay he’s not full of charisma, but look where that got you with Boris :headbang:

do you honestly think if labour came into power, Starmer would remain as leader?

He would be deposed quicker than Boris and replaced with someone like Angela Raynor or a corbynista

Given that the previous two conservative prime ministers were ousted by their own parties MP’s and that the Conservative party has a long history of dumping their governing leader, prey tell me who was the last labour prime minister to suffer this fate? History is really not on your side here, so stop the express/mail scare tactics :poke:

It tends to always work out that way though. When Tony gave Gordon his big chance that didn't go too well at the next election did it?
