hello everyone.
bought an 03 2.5 roadster 3 weeks ago, sterling grey, black leather one owner from new, 66k miles totally unmolested. love the car but it has the 16" alloys and i want to upgrade to 18's, been looking at BMW wheels on ebay and aftermarket but still unsure what to go for. the thing which does confuse me is the ET, i think the ET on the 18's fitted to Z4's is 47 front & 50 rear, will different ET's fit? this is all a bit new to me so any advice would be helpful.

cheers. :)

Hello and welcome, come on then post some pictures before the photo police turn up :D

As for wheels, you have the right offset figures, so you can go 5.0 mm either way before fitting spacers, however there are a many members on here with lower offsets without problems. Stick with a set from a 3 series (e46 - e92) wheels and you should be fine.

thanks for the replies & welcomes, as for wheels i quite like the 108's but seem pricey, there's a set of staggered 18" style 32 alloys with the correct offsets on ebay i'm watching which i think would be different to the usual choices, will update later.having a problem posting pics so again any advice would be good.

managed to sort the pics out, as you can see the 2.5i badges have been removed, only because one side fell off and today i fitted a stubby, £3,49 off ebay, works a treat, and i've also changed the tax disc holder. thinking of changing the BMW roundels for black ones and removing the Z4 badge from the boot.

..........and so it begins ! :)

Welcome bandit

New wheels you say? Recommend starting your search here...maybe something in anthracite to compliment that sterling grey body and your new black roundels :D
