New owner - Berkshire (Reading.)

Recently purchased an E89 sDrive 23i with various extras to make life a little easier. It's yet to be delivered but I'm quite excited. Deep sea blue with the pure White design package (already dreading keeping the seats and doors clean!)

So I noted a meet is scheduled for Berkshire which unfortunately I can't make. Are there any other local forum members in my area?

James

Welcome James.

Need pics as soon as you get that awesome machine!
I'm in Ascot and should be picking up a zed pretty soon if I can find one that I want. I know there's a fair few Berkshire Z4 owners about these parts

hello and welome

a pure white design package would definately not be for me, i know i could not look after it good enough

but if you can, awesome

Hi, plenty of us around Reading and always willing to meet up

If it carries on at this rate we're going to need our own forum :D

Loads of new Z owners in Reading and Berkshire it seems, including me. And have found this to be a great forum with friendly people!

:-)

Wow! I'm impressed by the response...!

Playalistic got in touch and has told me that some of you meet up. He is going to let me know when your next catch-up is, and I'll try to pop along.

Though when I drove the Z for the first time (test drive at BMW) it took me 2 minutes to figure out how to get the key out of the ignition and turn off the engine. I sense that I have much to learn.

Look forward to meeting you all.

I'm Calcot based.

Hi James, welcome.

Work in Reading - if you see a silver, noisy and homemade looking Z, that's me :)

A few of us meet up every now and then... sometimes for a tea and chat, others for a bit of DIY - not that you'll need it

James have got an E89 myself....if you fancy a splinter group of E89 owners (as the older Z owners are all ex Rover MGF and 75 owners) mail me when you get the car and we will try a 5 car meet....
:driving:
