New Owner! - Been busy coding! (page 3)

Hi Guys!

Luckily, my search for a car didn't take too long! It's midnight blue with light sepang bronze leather. Options are DSP, folding mirrors and nav. So excited. Took it for an extended test drive yesterday, never driven anything this quick and frantic. Surprised by the ride - reading the forum I see that people say it's far too stiff, but compared to my E87 when it had runflats, it's actually slightly softer, liveable for me. It's a 56 plate, but has had the v32 nav update and has had an aux fitted - the car may have been owned by an enthusiast before? I'm collecting on wednesday!

Quick question - does anybody have datens for NCS for the e85/6? I have NCS set up and used it to code a few things to my e87, would love to see if I can get comfort mirror fold and a few other bits and pieces activated via coding.

Here's some pictures:

Hi and welcome. You won't have any joy with the mirrors, it's been tried many ways, even through an Intravee etc. think there is a seperate module you can by though from memory.

Shame about the mirrors, will just have to press the button.. Do the windows open and close on the key?

if you press and hold the key then yes, or maybe it needs to be programmed

From memory yes. You can program so when you press unlock twice and open the drivers door the window goes all the way down to ease access.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Going from a car with 140hp to this will take some getting used to.

Sweet, good to know about the windows.

I've been trying to search around the forum about the intravee, as it seems to be a nifty bit of kit. From what I can gather, the install is quite tricky in cars with the CD changer and DSP - both of which I have. Anyone here fitted an intravee with the CDC and DSP? I'm fine with taking trim apart, did a full stereo install in my E87 and managed not to break anything, so locating the boxes in unusual locations shouldn't be too much of an issue, but I was wondering whether there are any particular limitations due to the CDC/DSP combo that make the intravee not worth the effort? I also have a tracker which may complicate things..

Indeed I have, although it's a bit easier on the coupe.
