new oem rear springs fitted,one side 1 inch higher

hi i need a bit of help !just had rear oem springs fitted (3.0 proper part numbers ect after they put standard ones on first time ) one side sits nice the other is about an inch or more higher and on looking through the wheel can see the springs are not sitting the same at the top ,the high side spring looks slightly angled so its defo not right is it possible it has been fitted upside down , i read another post were a member had the same prob, ive got one of the old springs unbroken and would not know the top from bottom how can i tell top from bottom so i can go back back with info to the garage

the springs look defferent top to bottom so if you can remove the wheels then have a look, otherwise take it back, if they put up on a ramp it again will be easy to see if that's the problem.
 
You need to use a spirit level to check if the car is parked on perfectly horizontal surface. If not, the ride heights can be different.

My driveway is not, so the ride heights of my Zed have 2" difference when it is parked.
