New Mtec anchors all round

Going on feedback I thought I'd try Mtec for the E85 brake changeout, just doing the fronts and the Mtec disc doesn't have a locating ring like the one I'm replacing, just a flat face, doesn't seem right as studs would be taking all the load unless the central locators part of the hub and disc will slide over it.disc seems welded on and can't shift it,locator stud is out but brute force ain't working.....lol

Not sure what the problem is can you repost or give a picture. I am sure we can help.
Used Mtech on my Z and there was no issues. Have they sent the correct parts?

Mtech all round on mine too, fitted with no problems, the lip is on the hub not the disk IIRC.

Double check they have sent the correct disks, as above pics might help.

Cheers for the reply lads, didn't get to reply as got stuck in to it and no coverage in garage, yes the retaining lips on the hub, was hard to tell as they were so badly corroded and welded to the hub face.

Found a great disc release trick as I'd be there till next week hammering with a 3lb hammer

Hard work as original parts I'd say, never shifted since 2003

All done now :D :D

Well done.

Which Mtech disc options did you go for ?

I have drilled grooved and coated silver and they still look great 10 months on

Great stuff
I have used that method but I would add some caution to placing too much pressure on the caliper carrier. I suggest loading the carrier to a 'safe pressure' and then tapping the disc with a hammer. The pressure along with the 'tap' does the trick usually with the potential snapping a lug on the carrier reduced.
