After searching for a 3.0 I have found a lovely looking 2.5 and will view it on Wednesday.

80,000 miles, two previous owners, black with red leather (somewhat different to the 3.0 in sterling grey I initially was looking for)!

Looks fantastic and the seller is a car enthusiast so all sounds pretty good - fingers crossed it will be as good in the flesh as it looks stunning on the internet ad - and I have a 4 hour train journey to get to the Z4.

LE092012, welcome to the forum and good luck with your search...

Many thanks

I hope tomorrow's trip will be worthwhile.

This is what I am going to view in the afternoon

Quick update: saw it, test drove it, loved it and bought it! :D

What a great car.

Enjoying a 230 mile journey home in the pouring rain/gales, but nothing is stopping me smiling from ear to ear in my new Z4 :driving:

We have a z and a Land Rover Discovery - what one doesn't do, the other does! I am sure the z and X5 combo will also be great.

We are also doing the same thing in 2015 with a Z + RR Evoque.

I've had Z's for a long time, I really should try to dig out some pictures of them all post them up. I'm pretty sure my first 2.8 Z3 was in the days before digital cameras ! :o

Thank you

A bit of a nightmare journey home (accidents, flooded roads, flying road signs, tree branches etc etc etc). However this gave me the opportunity to spend 6 hours getting home :driving:

Z4 ran perfectly and I totally get the 'Z Thing' - really looking forward to driving it with the roof down (STILL raining here).

Lovely car and best of all my wife likes it.
